Description

As a member of AMI’s Asset Analysis group, the Fleet Analyst plays a critical role in managing and maintaining the client’s fleet of assets that may include light, medium and heavy-duty trucks, construction equipment, material handling equipment, manufacturing equipment, airport related assets, railroad, governmental fleets as well as associated equipment in support of the operational and commercial needs of our clients while supporting a varied internal customer base.

Responsibilities
  • The Fleet Analyst will maintain an accurate database of assets, react quickly to solve routine issues that may arise during operations, and possess an attention to detail necessary to ensure regulatory compliance for licensing and permitting fleet assets
  • In addition, the Fleet Analyst will work with the Field Consultants and various internal departments to identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies in such areas as fleet deployment, utilization, fuel expenditures, maintenance costs, ordering costs, and replacement cycle times.
  • Responsible for projects, support, and optimization of asset tracking and monitoring. This includes the participation in computer program selection including analysis, design, testing, implementation, execution and ongoing improvement
  • Communicate complicated topics to non-subject matter experts clearly and succinctly in both oral and written form
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvement and assist in developing implementation presentations and plans
  • Create computerized reports summarizing key data for senior leadership
  • Work independently on multiple concurrent projects with limited direction
  • Interact with internal customers, vendors, and government representatives and tailor communication style and content to suit the audience
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of company assets using existing systems
  • Ensure permits and licenses are obtained and delivered on time to maintain regulatory compliance
  • Provide timely service for drivers experiencing problems with equipment or systems
  • Prepare basic legal documents such Bills of Sale using provided forms
  • Execute and file important documents such as permits, titles and tax forms
  • Maintain accurate records on all subject assets
Requirements
  • 5+ years directly related experience in an analyst capacity, designing and implementing IT solutions on various platforms preferred
  • 2+ years managing projects
  • Experience with analysis and maintenance of customized and complex pricing systems, specifically designing and configuring pricing solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; preferably in the field of Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Accounting
  • Previous experience working within the oil and gas industry, trucking/transportation industry, or other fleet management role is helpful
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite of tools, including: Office, Visio, Excel, Project as well as CRM
  • Ability to manage numerous competing demands in an extremely high stress environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
