Description

A key role in AMI’s total offering. The Director of Remarketing & Redeployment will play a vital role in helping our client’s realize the best return on their physical assets by overseeing the allocation, utilization, redeployment, and disposition strategy for our clients. As the Director of Remarketing & Redeployment, you will be a key contributor to the success of our Business Development team. You will work in coordination with Field Consultants, clients, 3rd party sales organizations, carriers, and more

Responsibilities
  • Liquidate client’s surplus or obsolete assets as per Client Agreement. This includes direct sale, auction, and 3rd party sales agencies
  • Identify and facilitate customer’s asset deliveries
  • Manage load quotations, documentation, and insurance verification and claims
  • Prior 3rd party sales and logistics
  • Serve as key player for transporting client’s assets to various transportation terminals, ports, rail yards, transload facilities, repair destination, etc. You will be responsible for setting schedules, prioritizing vehicle workflows, requesting resources, and coordinating work efforts with on-site managers
  • Responsible for all final quality checks, create effective service orders, and provide feedback to service and other teams as needed
  • Arranged for rental units when and where applicable to assist the client’s as their standards units are down for refurb, rebuild, remanufacturing, or redeployment
  • Conduct various audits to include but not limited to; security, inventory, asset location, etc…
  • Receive, inspect and process incoming inventory, including completing Bill of Lading (BOL) paperwork
  • Prepare, inspect, and stage vehicles for remarketing to be transported to the auction via carrier
  • Work cross-functionally with proper communication and collaboratively with other teams onsite and remote
  • Complete assignments with a high level of accuracy and embrace ambiguous situations
  • Participates in continuous improvement activities with guidance from Field Consultants and Directors
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience with operations, logistics, or lot management i.e. large equipment auction logistics experience highly desirable
  • Prior asset or equipment remarketing experience desirable
  • Proficiency with Microsoft suite of applications; strong emphasis with Excel preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving environment that changes day to day
  • Flexibility to work based on the demands of the business, which may require working evenings/nights or weekends.
  • Ability and willingness to travel (up to 40% of the time) as required to support other market launches and operations
