The Challenge

A food manufacturing company wanted to change their fleet of forklifts from liquid propane (LP), as a fuel source, to electric. The problem was their existing fleet was at various ages and stages of an existing lease agreement. The demand for the assets included freezer applications, steep ramps, indoor-outdoor, wet and slippery flooring

AMI performed a valuation for all assets and then negotiated with lessor for favorable early buy out (EBO) terms for existing assets. Redeployed assets to an outside application where the EBO did not make economic sense

Specify equipment, develop and solicit RFP, vet vendors, and equipment, negotiate favorable warranty and full service agreements
Project Solution 3

Design infrastructure to accommodate opportunity battery changing as well as a battery servicing/charging area that would comply with OSHA, ANSI and NFPA standards
